I am a 22-year-old male in the United States. I got Asperger’s syndrome from my mother’s side of the family as she and both of her brothers also have it.

I go to college full-time and work part-time to partially pay for my tuition. I will graduate next year but don’t yet know what I will do after that. I never had a girlfriend and only have a couple close friends and am very content with that. I am not happy unless I have a lot of time for myself. In my spare time I do my homework and read. I have built up quite a large collection of books over the years.

Sometimes I still get teased at school because I am very awkward socially. I used to get upset about a couple of years ago but now I am beyond the point of caring. I already know that I will never fit in with groups of NTs and have made peace with it. I don’t believe in god and think religion is a NT tool to control large populations. Anyway, I am interested in astronomy, cosmology, physics, technology, and to a lesser degree history and politics.
