PostSubject: Agent Smith   23/3/2009, 22:17

I am 21 year old male from Sweden. I am going to turn 22 in september this year.

I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome in August 1999. That after three years of contact with BUP (Child Psychiatric Clinic), due to religious and spiritual breakdown in 1996. My father died in 2007 due to lung cancer and my mother is still living in apartment in suburb I grew up in. It was rather impoverished area with many immigrants and high levels of unemployment. My parents were industrial workers.

I was forced to quit education when I was 17 years old due to being temporarily impaired by physical assault from gang of criminal youths.

Currently, I am living in another city, but I send part of my wage to my mother. I am working as cleaner for elderly people, and since some of these elder people are of foreign origin, my English could come to use and has improved due to that.

I am practising karate, and I am single and perfectly happy with it.

My name is AspieStar, aka Nathalia. I am a 21 year old female Aspergian from Seattle, Washington, (think coffee, jets, and Microsoft). I tend to have a very optimistic view on life, however I have grown up with and am still living with a hopelessly curebie mother, and have therefore been drugged and tortured for most of my life, (they could tell I was different very early). I do not mean any harm to come to the neurotypicals, I just simply want to be left alone. My unique mind is my own. If the cure suddenly does come about, I do have to be prepared to split at any moment; living with my mother and all. Any suggestions anyone?

A cure? A cure is impossible without great technological breakthrough, which if it does come would require space colonisation to safeguard human liberty - the power to rewire brains is one I do not trust anyone with.

Any suggestions? Get out of there. What are you skilled at, interested in etc? What is your "perseveration", as they call it. See if you can spin it into a job.

To answer your question: visual arts.

As in...?

Ah, just looked it up. How good are you at them; for that matter, what part of visual arts? Have you sold anything yet?

Try your hand at making some money off it, and start putting it into an account - savings are valuable, since you're unlikely to be guaranteed a stable income, I'd imagine. Once you can, try moving out?
