It's been pretty much established that a lot of people with autism are hypersensitive to things like lights, temperature etc. Conversely, this can be recast as a positive - someone who operates best at a lower light level, and who's optimum temperature is a lot lower than most peoples, would do well in the outer solar system. For example, the light levels on Titan are 1% that of Terran levels, and the temperature is minus 180 degrees centigrade, which terraforming may be able to boost to -30 degrees. In these conditions, a lot of NT's would be driven to depression, which would be compounded by the low population that we could expect. However, this is exactly the sort of environment that certain Aspies would thrive in.

Perhaps, some kind of Aspie nation state could purchase part of Siberia, in this case. It would seem our neurology is suited to thriving in such conditions.
